BCI Cyber Resilience Report 2023
This year the BCI Cyber Resilience Report shows that organizations are investing heavily in technologies and introducing new controls to help ensure resilience to attacks is maintained; however, the frequency of cyber attacks continues to increase and attack vectors are becoming more complex and harder to detect.
Some of the findings of the comprehensive, 72-page report include:
- Organizations are adopting a proactive approach towards cyber resilience.
- Cyber attacks have increased, causing financial losses in the past twelve months.
- Phishing and spear phishing remain the most frequent and disruptive threat.
- Cyber security and IT teams usually lead cyber resilience strategies, with the oversight of executives.
- Respondents highlight the need for more integration between technical teams, such as cyber security, business continuity, and risk management.
