WebEOC helps Winston-Salem win technology ranking:

For the 15th year in a row, Winston-Salem was among the top 10 most technology-advanced cities of its size in America, as ranked by the Center for Digital Government. The annual study ranks the use of information technology by local governments.

City officials said the city deployed a web-based system for emergency management called WebEOC that ties in with area agencies involved with any activation of the local emergency operations center. The system centralizes information and makes it easier to manage resources and handle public notifications.
