SIX PILLARS ON THE RISK AND RESILIENCE HUB

The disciplines of business continuity, crisis management, emergency management, disaster recovery, IT availability & security, governance, risk and compliance FLOW through our six major categories.  The same is true for the phases of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.

A brief description of each of the six categories follows, along with a link to that category:

1. Operational Resilience – Helping organizations respond to change and disruption to ensure continuous operations and to protect people, assets and brand.  Note:  The focus of this category would generally be BEFORE an event and managing an ongoing program — assessing risks, developing plans, mitigation. This category includes planning for private and public sectors for both continuity and emergency management. https://www.riskandresiliencehub.com/home/operational-resilience/

2. Human Concerns – Focusing on the critical element that makes organizations successful every day – people! Developing strategies to allow people to continue their work.  https://www.riskandresiliencehub.com/home/human-concerns/

3. Cybersecurity & Data Protection – Helping organizations design systems to safeguard key data, maintain productivity and deliver an acceptable level of service, no matter what.  https://www.riskandresiliencehub.com/home/cybersecurity-data-protection/

 4. Communications & Network – Facilitating “always-on” communication in light of evolving technologies including social media, satellite solutions, and robust computer networks.  https://www.riskandresiliencehub.com/home/communications/

 5. Physical Infrastructure – Equipping facility managers to operate at two levels: strategic-tactical and operational with consideration of cost, risk, security and compliance. https://www.riskandresiliencehub.com/home/physical-infrastructure/

 6. Incident & Crisis Response – Helping organizations reduce or avoid losses from hazards, achieve prompt and appropriate response to victims and effect rapid recovery.  (Note:  The focus of this category would generally be DURING or AFTER an event.)   https://www.riskandresiliencehub.com/home/crisis-disaster-management/
