Chaos to Control

If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s this: Now more than ever, businesses and government agencies alike need better capabilities to manage critical events.
This critical event management (CEM) e-book looks at the three parts of CEM, then explores a scenario based on actual events to show how calm can turn into chaos – and how OnSolve can take you from chaos to control.
The e-book also addresses risk reduction and improved operational continuity, and offers insights on managing end-to-end crisis response.

Celebrating 35 Years in this Industry

When the devastating Mexico City earthquake struck, September, 1985, I had just left my job with an international non-profit to start a business. My dad always said, "Find a need and meet it." In the days following the disaster, southern California news media preached the importance of business and community preparedness. This was before COVID, before 9/11, before the recent weather and wildfire crises - and preparedness was not on many ToDo lists! I researched solutions and became excited. There were SO many products and services that could make a difference, but they were not easy to find. That began my passion to connect buyers and sellers.

A few months later, I founded Emergency Lifeline Corp. Then during the early 90s, there was an increasing integration of emergency management and business recovery. Fast forward to 1996, we launched the Disaster Resource GUIDE, followed by the industry's first e-newsletter, Continuity eGUIDE and now the Risk and Resilience HUB. (www.RiskAndResilienceHUB.com)

Our vision is big and we cannot do it alone. Will you help us build the HUB to meet the needs of future generations? Here are some ways you can help:

  • Invite your colleagues and associates to join the HUB
  • Recommend topics and your favorite experts to write articles
  • Send us feedback on how we can make the HUB work better
  • Start and moderate a group for an industry vertical

If you can help, reach out with the subject line: Count Me In. With your help, the best is yet to come! [email protected]
