Members of the Newsweek Expert Forum have compiled 15 trends they say are reshaping business risk management strategies.
First on the list is “elevating strategic communication skills as risk management tools.” Put forth by Zen Media’s Shama Hyder, this trend looks at taking what used to be thought of as a soft skill and treating it as a critical part of an overall risk management strategy.
Other trends on the list include:
- Dealing with talent shortages
- A focus on mental health and work-life balance
- Employee education on security risks
- The risks of AI
- Moving from standard risk management to dynamic resilience planning
