A Scent of Prevention

Cybersecurity gurus Kaspersky Lab had some fun with the senses (and the press) by announcing two “threatening, yet provocative” scents called, appropriately, Threat do Toilette pour femme and pour homme. “Fear awakens our senses,” said Kaspersky Lab’s principal security researcher David Emm.“The men and women who wear Threat de Toilette understand today’s online threats and protect themselves against them. Fear is no longer felt only in the physical world – it’s all around us in our connected lives too and we need to make sure we’re constantly protected.”

Kaspersky Labs released the news as an educational tool, with “additional scents in the Threat range” such as Ransom, Mal-wear, Social Enginoir and Phish.
